Gertrude (Gertie) is our resident old lady but she is still quite beautiful. She is very affectionate, too, and will follow you around.  She will lay right next to you and especially loves getting her back rubbed.  She does not really like to be picked up. She is one of 5 cats we rescued when her owner died and the cats were left in squalor.  She only has a few teeth, and is most likely completely deaf, but a good kitty who needs some love from her new forever human.  She had been picked on by her other cat companions so it is important she goes to a low activity home where there are no other cats. Gertie is no trouble at all!  She just wants to be a couch kitty snuggled up with someone to love!
