Califer is one of the sweetest cats this foster has ever met. She is a gentle soul and wants nothing but love and affection from her human. Somewhere along the way, Califer has had her trust in humans bruised. But not her desire to be loved. Califer was a bit skittish at first but she is warming up and learning to trust again. She craves affection and will purr and purr while being stroked and petted. Califer is a kneader, she will knead everything! She loves to lay on her perch and watch the birds at the bird feeder and roll around on her scratching pad with some catnip sprinkled on it. This sweetheart rubs her head on everything, including her human! Califer would do best in a quiet environment with one or two humans to call her own.
