Look at lovable Gilbertt. He is such a big, sweet guy. Some people moved out and left him and another cat. We have no idea how they could do something like that especially to such a calm, chill kitty. He’s very mellow and he loves attention and to be petted. He will definitely become a lap cat once he is situated in his forever home. You can pick him up and put him on your lap but until he really gets to know you, he won’t come and do it on his own yet. He is also good with other cats. He will make someone so happy!!! He is an amazing cat!

He is FIV positive, and u would never know.  But it’s so important to understand what this means. Cats can remain asymptomatic for years or even their entire lives. it just means they have the antibodies that have been exposed to the virus.  There’s no way that this virus can cross between species or infect people. You just have to protect their immune systems like not letting them outdoors, which you shouldn’t anyways, as well as, if you notice they’re getting sick take them to the vet, which you would normally do as well.They can live safely with other cats no problem. Please don’t let this sway you from adopting cats with FIV

All of our cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for FIV/FELV , and up to date on vaccinations including rabies, distemper, and dewormer.
