Haylo is a most extraordinary young boy! Super sweet and loveable! When he was brought into our rescue it was thought that he had a broken right foot.  He had a nasty open wound on it due to him basically walking on his "wrist”. Once the infected area was cleared up we consulted with an orthopedic vet to see if the deformed area could be corrected with surgery. While he said he could probably do it, he didn't  think that the prognosis for a good and healthy future was not in the cards. So we opted for the best solution for Haylo’s future which was amputation of his front right leg. He is now an awesome tripod who can run and play along with the other kits. He has even engaged in the occasional boxing match with his foster mom’s blind kitten(which can be very entertaining, check out the video) He has healed up beautifully and is ready to meet his fur-ever family. All of our cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for FIV/FELV , and up to dat e on vaccinations including rabies, distemper, and dewormer.
